Our IVF treatment costs

Package: Treatment consultation, cycle medication* (Ovarian stimulation medication, trigger medication, FET Medication and up to 3 weeks of luteal support medication), monitoring scans and blood tests (E2 & LH), clinical advice, counselling session (elective), screening blood tests for both partners (HIV, Hep B & C), infectious screening for the donating partner, sedation and HFEA fees, egg collection, embryology, blastocyst culture (if appropriate), thawing & further embryo culture, frozen embryo transfer, pregnancy test, early pregnancy scan and follow up consultation.

Cycle medication: The medication included within the abc Reciprocal IVF package price is:

• Stimulation medication (Bemfola, Cetrotide)
• Trigger medication (Ovitrelle/Buserelin)
• FET medication (Oestradiol - tablets/Patches, Progesterone – Pessaries)
• Up to 3 weeks of Luteal support medication (Utrogestan).
• All other medication outside this list is chargeable.

Medication not included within the abc Reciprocal IVF package:

• Patient requested alternative medication - Patient requests to alter the brand from those included within the abc Reciprocal IVF package will be chargeable.
• Some patients may require medication and support for other reproductive concerns/medical conditions. These medications are chargeable.
• Additional luteal/pregnancy support medication (progesterone) – Any luteal/pregnancy support medication required beyond the 3 weeks included in the abc IVF treatment package will be chargeable. Estimated total cost of additional Luteal support up to 12 weeks of pregnancy is around (£280). In certain circumstance additional support may be required for a cost of (£35) per box, per week.
• Exact costs of additional medication and services will be discussed at consultation based on patients’ individual medical needs and circumstances.

The estimated total cost of additional medication required for an abc Reciprocal IVF cycle up to 12 weeks pregnant is £0 - £280, bringing the estimated total treatment cost £6,121 - £6,221.

Pre-treatment costs: In some circumstances patients may require further exploration and fertility tests such as Hysteroscopy (£2,100), HyCosy (£495), Thyroid blood tests (£55) or other Genetic Tests such as Karyotype (£295), Y Deletions (£195) or Cystic Fibrosis (£295). Potential future costs: If you have additional embryos after your embryo transfer procedure, you will be given the option to freeze them to be used at a later date. This will be an additional cost of £1,120 which includes 2 years of storage. There is an annual storage fee after package storage has finished to keep frozen embryos stored (£385). To use frozen embryos you will need a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) (£2,441 - £2,541) which includes embryo thawing. Estimated total cost of additional Luteal support up to 12 weeks of pregnancy is around (£280).

Elective freeze cycle- ‘Freeze All’: In specific cases there may be a medical need to freeze embryos called a ‘Freeze all’, bringing an end to the cycle at egg collection. In these circumstances you may require, embryo freezing and cryostorage (£1,120) and a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) procedure. In this case, the FET cycle is discounted by £700 to (£1,495 - £1,595). The estimated total cost of a discounted FET cycle, including medication up to 12 weeks is £1,859 - £1,959.

Abandoned cycles: In the event that a Treatment cycle is abandoned prior to egg collection/embryo transfer for medical reasons, a Cancellation Fee will be incurred of £250 per monitor scan that has been completed. Medication used will need to be repurchased of a cost of (£250) in order to allow you commence a new cycle when appropriate.

Donor sperm: Donor sperm bought through abc ivf cost £1,200. You may require additional support and treatments such as ICSI (£1,250). If using donor sperm from an external sperm bank – Be aware that you will likely need ICSI. Abc IVF + Donor sperm package is only valid with sperm from Create Fertility sperm bank. The cost of donor sperm varies between banks and is payable directly to the sperm bank. You should estimate between £800 and £1,300 to purchase donor sperm (excluding courier fees). If purchasing sperm from a sperm bank, Implications counselling is recommend. If using a ‘known sperm donor’ Implications counselling is mandatory with your cycle. Implications counselling is NOT Included in the abc package and is charged directly through counsellor (£150).
