Debra Jefferies

Debra starter working in the field of assisted conception as a staff nurse at the Cardiff Assisted Reproduction Unit (CARU) in 2000 where fertility became her passion. Whilst working for the NHS she was involved in the allocation of NHS treatment entitlement for patients and worked very closely with Health Commission Wales to develop the 'one for all' policy to remove the IVF postcode lottery.

Debra has since worked for two private fertility clinics and has also been an external clinical inspector for the HFEA. She has a degree in clinical leadership, a diploma in midwifery and a diploma in counselling.

She is extremely excited to be working as a nurse consultant at abc ivf and is looking forward to helping patients in Wales.
