I decided to be a single mother mainly due to my age. I hadn’t found a partner and couldn’t wait any longer but I have always wanted to become a mother so I decided to go through IVF treatment on my own. My friends and family were a bit sceptical at first but once they saw how sure I was about my decision and how much thought I had put into planning it, they were very supportive of my journey.

I came across abc ivf whilst researching clinics online; I was looking at affordable clinics and trying to compare prices. The price was the main thing that attracted me to abc; abc was much more affordable than all the other clinics I had looked at. I also already knew of CREATE Fertility and knew that abc ivf were a part of the CREATE group so I knew the quality of their treatments would also be of a high standard.

I went along to an initial consultation and scan and decided right away that abc was the right clinic for me. The consultation was very professional and informational. The doctor even compared my results from the first IVF cycle I had at another clinic and talked though what we would try to do different this time to ensure a better chance of success. I was so happy with their approach and it left me feeling optimistic.

I decided to go ahead with abc’s IVF package and bought my donor sperm from the London Sperm Bank. Selecting a sperm donor wasn’t easy because I wanted to do it perfectly. It was very important to me to check as much information as possible about the donor because I really wanted a healthy baby so I was very thorough with the selection process.

My treatment went well but it was emotionally and physically very stressful for me. The staff at abc made all the difference. They were very supporting, warm and understanding throughout my whole treatment. I had a lot of questions and they always took the time to explain everything to me. They made me feel like no question was a silly question. I honestly cannot thank them enough and it is thanks to them that I now have Kira - my dream!

I would recommend abc to anyone. They were so amazing for me that I have actually already recommended them to a friend. The all inclusive packages are also really great! Usually with IVF it always ends up being more expensive than you initially think, but that wasn’t the case with abc. The package included everything I needed and there were no extra costs so it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Since having Kira my life has changed completely. I am the happiest person I have ever been. She has changed my whole life for the better. She is the love of my life.

Being a single mother isn’t easy but its very rewarding. For me, it’s been an amazing journey. If you are 100% sure you want to be a mother, just go for it. I promise you’ll never regret it.
