Katie Backhouse

Katie started her fertility career in 2013 in one of Yorkshire’s leading NHS satellite services after discovering her passion for infertility and fertility treatments. In 2015 she completed both Ultrasound Scanning in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility in Practice msc modules at Edgehill university.

Katie spoke at monthly patient information evenings for patients ready to embark on their fertility treatment journey. Katie had special interest in infertility due to male factor and was lead nurse for co ordinating treatments for patients requiring treatments using donor sperm.

Having the opportunity to join abc & Create in September 2020 Katie opened the Leeds satellite unit and is delighted with the opening of the Leeds central unit in the near future.
